Whole-Home Remodeling

Interior Remodeling Services

A whole-home remodel is an opportunity to create an interior that feels uniquely yours. If you love where you live but not how your home looks or functions, remodeling gives you the opportunity to reimagine your existing home instead of replacing it.

Whether you're remodeling your kitchen, bathroom, basement, or any other space, our goal at Homecare Remodeling is to create a home that reflects your vision with thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and lasting value. Instead of growing out of your home, we help you grow into it.

Home Design & Planning

Our whole-home remodeling services include design and planning before construction begins so that every area matches your exact needs and expectations. This step gives you a preview of what the end result will look like, what materials are being used, and overall design coherence so there are no surprises.

Structural Repairs & Floor Plan Changes

A huge benefit of whole-home remodeling is that we can address structural repairs and floor plan changes within one comprehensive remodeling project. If you have larger restructuring needs, multiple areas of your home need remodeling, or have new additions in mind, whole-home remodeling may be the perfect option for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does whole-home remodeling include?

Whole-home remodeling services update most or all of your house at once. This service typically includes:

  • Structural repairs and modifications

  • Floor plan and layout changes

  • Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC upgrades

  • Living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and other interior spaces
  •  Kitchen and bathroom remodeling

  • Home additions and expanded living space
  • Updated flooring, finishes, lighting, and other design elements

Do you need to update your exterior space in your whole-home remodel?

No. A whole-home remodel can focus entirely on the interior of your home. If your project includes an addition, the exterior areas affected by the new construction, such as roofing and siding, will also need to be addressed as part of the project. Otherwise, exterior remodeling is not required as part of a whole-home remodel.

Why do homeowners modify their living spaces?

According to the NAR (National Association of Realtors) and NARI 2022 Remodeling Impact Report, “The exact reasons why homeowners decided to modify their living spaces varied. Thirty-five percent of owners said the single most important result from their remodel was better functionality and livability. Upon completion of their project, 22 said they had durable and long-lasting results, materials, and appliances. Fourteen percent reported beauty and aesthetics as a result of their remodel.

“The pandemic has changed the way we use our homes, and many of those changes are here to stay,” said Jessica Lautz, vice president of demographics and behavioral insights at NAR. “As a result, homeowners needed to reconfigure or remodel how they use their home and maximize space.”

The goal of our whole-home remodeling services are to improve your home’s appearance, value, safety, and functionality while keeping to your budget.

Why do homeowners need whole-home remodeling services?

For homeowners who love the location of their home but the design and layout don’t quite fit their design preferences or lifestyle, whole-home remodeling services offer a better solution than selling their homes. Remodeling offers numerous benefits to homeowners, including:

  • A better floor plan and layout that suits their needs
  • Cohesive, matching design and build throughout the home
  • Improved safety with new wiring, plumbing, and more
  • Future-proofing for aging in place and additions for growing families
  • Increased property value, expanded storage, and a modernized design

Does Homecare Remodeling offer exterior remodeling services?

Homecare Remodeling primarily focuses on interior remodeling and does not offer standalone exterior remodeling services. We do offer window and door replacement, and when exterior work such as roofing or siding is required as part of a home addition, that work is included as part of the larger remodeling project.
