NARI, or the [National Association of The Remodeling Industry](http://narimn.org/index.php/homeowners), exists to advance and promote the remodeling industry’s professionalism. NARI was established in 1983, as the result of a merger between two existing organizations – the National Remodelers Association and the National Home Improvement Council – and we are proud to say that Steve was one of NARI’s eleven original charter members! Today NARI includes 58 chapters nationwide. One of NARI’s primary roles it to certify remodeling professionals. To be certified, contractors must not only meet stringent experience criterion, they must also pledge to uphold high standards of practice and NARI’s Code of Ethics.
