This week we wanted to share a Bloomington bathroom remodeling project that we have been working on. We were recently asked to tackle the master bathroom of a 1980’s two-story home in west Bloomington. The homeowners were looking for an updated space and a larger shower. To help make the room feel larger, we installed a countertop to ceiling mirror, complete with a light cut-out. We also scraped the popcorn finish off the ceiling and replaced it with a smooth finish paint, consistent in color with the wall paint. Next, we moved on to the shower. We tiled the ceiling and used an accent of glass tile within the shower itself for added flair. We replaced the shower door frame with an oil rubbed bronze model and installed faucets to match. Last but not least, we installed a rain shower head for a little extra novelty. The project took just over two weeks and resulted in our very favorite kind of customer – a happy one!
